This kit includes everything you need to replace all the front engine oil seals on your Porsche 944 and 968.
This kit includes all the parts required for both the 8v valve lux or turbo engines, as well as the 16 valve S, S2 and 968 engines.
Included in the kit are
- Camshaft rotary oil seal
- Camshaft sleeve tube film washer
- Camshaft pulley rear guard sealing ring
- Upper balance shaft rotary oil seal
- Upper ballance shaft tube film washer
- Upper ballance shaft front housing sealing ring
- Lower ballance shaft rotary oil seal
- Lower ballance shaft tube film washer
- Lower ballance shaft front housing sealing ring
- Crankshaft front rotary oil seal
- Crankshaft tube o-ring
Beware of the kits available elsewhere, they often do not include all the required parts as listed above.
We at JMG recommend the front engine oil seals, due to the nature and materials used in their construction, we have found that it is advisable to replace the front engine oil seals every 8 years or 80,000 miles.
Not resealing the front engine area can lead to leaks, which will degrade the cam and ballance belts, often causing terminal engine damage!
