The 9XX RaceShift is a completely re-designed gear selector for the Porsche 944.
This product is designed to replace the gear selector mounted to the outside of the transmission on any 944 model.
The original part made by Porsche suffers from poor tactile feedback, sloppy motion, corrosion, excessive wear and in some cases stiffness due to excessive corrosion and failed seals.
Designed by the engineer previously responcible for components used in racing by famous names such as Al Unser, Al Unser Jr, Emerson Fittipaldi, Paul Tracy and Mario Andretti. This product stands head and shoulders above the original part or any other quickshift available on the market for any Porsche model.
Using the very best in components and materials, this part features aviation rosejoints, high quality stainless steel (with coded tig welding) and billet aluminium.
This item is available in two types. RoadShift and RaceShift.
RoadShift benefits from a slightly reduced travel between gears with a very precise gear selection without any additional force required to select gears.
RaceShift benefits from a much reduced travel between gears, also with a very precise gear selection. But due to the laws of physics, it may require a little more effort to select gears.
