This is the 9XX - Dashboard speaker kit with 9XX-Pro speakers included (986 and 996 - NOT BOSE).

This kit comes with everything you need, including a pair of speakers, to upgrade the dashboard speakers in a 1998-2005 Boxster or 996 to Alpine units.

This kit includes

- 2 x Speaker adapters

- 2 x 9XX Pro speakers (2 way, 47wRMS, 200w Peak)

- 4 x Speaker clamps

- 2 x Speaker wiring adapters

Fitting of this kit typically takes between 30 mins and one hour, requiring only a screwdriver for fitting. In some cases we have found that the standard speaker grills have been fitted with Torx screws, in this case you may need a torx security key which is also available in this store..

The added bonus of the 9XX Pro speaker, over and above its ultimate quality materials and components, is that it incorporates a tweeter that can be manipulated to point at different angles to direct the higher frequencies towards the driver within the sound stage.

The 9XX Pro speaker has a much larger magnet than the Alpine speaker, which in some rare installations can cause problems with clearance. In cases where there is not enough clearance for the speaker, minor modifications to the area behind the speaker may be required. Should this be beyond the scope of your abilities we recommend that you purchase the speaker kit with Alpine speakers instead.
